The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), with central office in Grimbergen is a voluntary organisation representing over 7000 infertility specialists, embryologists, geneticists, stem cell scientists, developmental biologists, technicians and nurses worldwide.   Following its continuous growth, ESHRE is seeking to extend its staff and is now looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic, m/f COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT. 

Function

You will support the ESHRE communications team with the day-to-day communications and marketing tasks. This involves contributing to the production of communication materials (printed, digital, multimedia), coordinating specific communication projects, and giving support to the development and regular updating of the Society’s websites and apps. You will fulfil these tasks under the direct supervision of ESHRE's Communications Manager and will work together with externally contracted communication consultants.

Profile

The ideal candidate would have a background or qualification in communications, public relations, marketing or related working experience (preferably one to three years working experience) and an interest in (reproductive) medicine and health. Excellent (or mother-tongue) English is a must. Computer skills include a routine use of MS office suite, preferably combined with experience in website management and basic working knowledge of InDesign would be a plus. Experience and knowledge of digital communications (websites, apps, social media) would be an additional requirement. You would be able to work to deadlines, with a varied workload and independently without continuous supervision. You should also be willing travel abroad on a regular basis and attend meetings, possibly outside regular working hours and during weekends.
