Global Trade Compliance Specialists - Export Administrators EMEA & APAC

Function

• Applying for export authorizations and working together with Belgian Export Authorities.
• Creating and obtaining export license documentation and announcing export approvals and authorizations.
• Supporting the US license process ; creating and obtaining license documentation.
• Creating, maintaining and updating reports, flowcharts, processes and procedures.
• Organising basic internal training sessions and presentations around compliance and licensing.
• Providing consultancy support to management and staff on trade compliance.
• Gathering feedback and engage in continous improvement of procedures and controls.
• Participation in ad hoc projects and investigations.

Profile

• A relevant experience in trade compliance, export-control/regulation or customs, preferably in a dynamic, high-paced and complex international work environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, International Trade or similar field of study is desirable.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload and take initiative.
• Strong organization, decision making and problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze processes and problems and work towards improvement.
• High integrity with a professional, conscientious and methodical approach to work.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team with local and remote colleagues.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong administrative skills with advanced proficiency in MS Office.
• SAP experience is essential with knowledge of the GTS (Global Trade Services) module as a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Fluency in English with a practical knowledge of Dutch as a definite plus.
