Automation & Commissioning Specialist - Scandinavia

PLC Programmer - Denmark, Sweden & Norway

Function

• After an intensive training period (Finland and Denmark) you will be responsible for commissioning, programming and trouble-shooting of new and existing automated packaging machines in Scandinavia with occasional interventions elsewhere in the world. • You will offer high-quality service to end-customers in a wide range of high-volume industries. • Collaborating with the Sales, Customer Service, Spare Parts and Production teams you will guarantee and improve customer satisfaction by providing technical assistance and troubleshooting, including e.g. setting of PLC parameters and network communications and program-ming updates for existing machines. • On installation installation, start-up and testing of new machines you will deliver support, software modifications and training on-site to customer and end-users. • You will diagnose break-downs and technical problems and you will issue reports and recommendations for machine-repairs or -replacements. • You will also work regularly in the factory in Sønderborg (Denmark) to prepare software and documents for machine upgrades and new equipment installations. • You will report directly to the Service Manager
in Denmark.

Profile

For this challenging position we are looking for a talented and versatile professional with a technical degree in e.g.industrial automation, machine technology, electrotechnical engineering (or similar) and a relevant experience in software and controls for automated machines in an industrial environment. • You are able to design and program Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC`s and you have experience working with HMI`s and networking systems (Profinet, Profibus and Ethernet IP) • You are a dedicated and responsible person who shows a high degree of autonomy and flexibility. • You are well organized and efficient and you have a thorough and methodic approach in dealing with and finding solutions for technical problems. • You have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and you can demonstrate excellent communication skills. • You are fluent in English and (ideally) Danish (spoken/written). A good command of Swedish and/or Norwegian is a plus, not a requirement.• This position requires intensive travel, mainly in Denmark and other parts of Scandinavia. • You are living in Southern Denmark or are prepared to stay closer to the factory in Sønderborg for certain periods of time. You also have the flexibility to operate out of your home office when possible.
