The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), with central office near Brussels is a voluntary organisation representing over 9000 infertility specialists, embryologists, geneticists, stem cell scientists, developmental biologists, technicians and nurses worldwide. More information about the activities of ESHRE can be found on their website.  Following its continuous growth, ESHRE is seeking to extend its staff and is now looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic, m/f Data Project Manager.

Function

As a Data Project Manager for the EuMAR project you will oversee the project on a day-to-day-basis. 
 
The objective of the EuMAR project is overarching European, standardized, web-based data registry, containing high-quality cycle-by-cycle data entries from medical professionals across the EU, facilitating data sharing for open science across institutes and allowing the longitudinal and cross-border follow-up of the Medical Assisted Reproduction ( MAR) data.
 
You will be responsible for 
achieving the projects objectives within the set timeframes;
creating project and management plans and presentations; 
performing risk management and mitigation; 
monitoring the progress of the project in general and in the individual work packages;
regular reporting towards the Project Steering Committee (PSC) and the funder. 
 
You will be the key contact person for the project, ensuring horizontal communication between the different teams, committees, and contributors. 
 
You will coordinate and motivate the Project Core Team (PCT) and you will report to the Project Steering Committee (PSC), the key decision-making body for the project. 
 

Profile

The ideal candidate should have a university degree (min. bachelor level) in marketing, management, business, or finance with experience in project management and a few years of relevant working experience. A bio-medical background and an interest in quantitative science, or informatics and databases is a plus. 
You should have excellent communication and presentation skills (in English, both in writing and speaking), and good problem-solving skills. You should be able to manage multiple tasks, set the right priorities, focus on details, and see the bigger picture. As the project will rely on collaboration with different profiles and nationalities, excellent interpersonal skills and an open mind will be an important asset. 

Offer

ESHRE offers you a challenging position within an international environment. ESHRE foresees an initiation and training period that will allow you to familiarize yourself with the organization, the field of expertise and the EuMAR project. ESHRE offers an attractive salary and benefits package in line with your experience. After your initiation and training period, telework will be possible up to 3 days a week. ESHRE can offer you a contract of 3 years. After 3 years it will be evaluated whether the contract can be further extended.
