In Italy, d'Arta Group has teamed up with Agrifood-Covalpa in the fertile Fucino valley in Celano (Abruzzo region) where a cooperative of 500 local producers grows and processes typical high-quality ‘made in Italy’ Mediterranean products, including aubergine, zucchini, paprika, premium spinach, cimedi rapa, fennel, basil and parsley. In Sole di Sicilia, the group's new production plant in Mazzarino (Sicily), southern vegetables such as aubergines, courgettes, peppers and artichokes are harvested, processed, grilled and frozen.

IT Infrastructure Specialist - Italy

As part of a European team of IT Specialists you will be responsible for the management, configuration, maintenance and operation of all Information Systems in the entire organisation in Italy. You will report directly to the Plant Manager of Covalpa in Celano and to the Group IT Director in Belgium. Your Key Responsibilities include :
Upgrading, installing, managing and supporting IT Infrastructure and related equipment and devices (e.g. routers, servers, firewalls, switches, laptops, peripherals, smartphones, tablets) in the production plants in Celano (Abruzzo) and Mazzarino (Sicily) and in the offices in Montichiari (Brescia). • Acting as a first point of contact for on-site and remote IT user support and trouble-shooting. • Establishing and developing a good collaboration with IT teams in HQ and with new and existing external IT partners and vendors in Italy. • Participating in and/or driving digital transformation projects : e.g. SAP implementation, IT/OT integration, roll-out of cloud-based infrastrucure, digitization and introduction of the Industry 4.0 approach in the factories. • Acting as real IT Business Partner for local management while maintaining excellent relations with internal/external stakeholders.
Profil
• To qualify for this role you have a (Master/Bachelor) degree in Information Technology or similar with a relevant and successful experience in managing and supporting IT Infrastructure, preferably in a European or International production or manufacturing environment. • Your field of expertise ideally includes : an excellent knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office -a good understanding of networking, storage and cloud based infrastructure - experience with network security and disaster recovery planning. • You have a good insight in the ERP business processes of a large international organisation with experience in SAP as an asset, not a requirement. • You are familiar with Digital Transformation strategies with some knowledge of IT/OT integration and the Industry 4.0 approach as an advantage. • Above all you are an enthusiastic, autonomous, hands-on and service minded professional with strong analytical, organisational, problemsolving and reporting skills. • You are fluent in Italian with a good command of (oral/written) English. • The position is based in Celano (Abruzzo) with occasional travel (Italy, Belgium) and with (limited) flexibility to work from your home office.
